A pack of dogs who live in the south of Japan who are threatened by Shogun. At first, Saheiji is the leader of the pack but when he was crippled by the monkeys as he tried to save Yukimura and Joe (though Joe was taken away but turned out to be alive much later with the help of the human), Yukimura becomes a leader who hunts down monkeys ruthlessly.
