Don was one of the hunting dogs owned by Takeda Gohē.
He was not fully trained yet and was still learning, often getting yelled at and abused by Gohē for misbehaving.
Appearance[]
Don is a black dog, who looks like an Akita-inu. He has a thick yellow collar with silver-coloured metal details on it.
Ginga Nagareboshi Gin[]
In the beginning of the story, Don follows his owner to the mountains with Riki and Aka on an expedition. However, the hunting party gets ambushed by the terrifying bear Akakabuto, who killed Don and his partner Aka.
Later, in a flashback by Daisuke, Don returns from a hunt with Gohē, Aka, and Riki. As he whimpers and falls behind his pack mates, Gohē yells at him to come to him, and beats Don with a stick. Daisuke tells Gohē to stop before he kills Don.
