Kesagake was Akakabuto's master strategist and commander. He outcompeted both Madara and Mosa for his intelligence and brute strength. He was considered to be the second strongest bear in Akakabuto's stronghold.

When the Harpoon Bear arrived towards Gajou, Kesagake confronts him, willing to kill him for entering his boss's territory. As the two bears fight, the Harpoon Bear was so massive and strong that it ripped Kesagake's head off with a single swipe of its paw. The infamous bear was killed instantly.
