Lucy was the mate of Terry, an Ohu warrior who was killed by Akakabuto’s minions. Some time after the defeat of Akakabuto, she mourned Terry’s death for a long time and felt jealous of the leader of Ohu, Gin and his mate, Sakura. When Gin goes on a mission with John and Akame, Lucy convinces Sakura that Gin was badly injured in a landslide and that she needs to go to him before he dies. Sakura quickly asks her where to go and is led to a truck on the road, that will take ger to the Northen Alps. Smith returns to find Sakura gone and Lucy crying and asks for an explanation. Lucy breaks down and admits her jealousy of Sakura and hatred of the Ohu Army. She promises to tell Smith what she had done to Sakura if he would kill her afterwards. It is unknown if he killed her but he left immediately to find Sakura, ordering Tesshin not to tell Gin of this when he returned. Lucy makes herself the single reason why Gin and Sakura ever were separated and why their sons Weed, Yukimura and Joe could not grow up in Ohu.

Lucy is not mentioned from any flashback in the anime, instead Sakura was evacuated from Ohu by Smith when Kaibutsu invaded the dogs' paradise.
