Masami is a minor character in Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion and has a short appearance. They is one of Izō's five pups.

Masami is black or grey and white Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix with white small ball patterns on forehead and black marks around muzzle.

Masami live with their parents and 4 siblings at Hakkōda Mountains.
Izo is at Ōu, Masashige led force was deployed by family cave. Puppies wanted to fight against intruders, but Sayoko told them to keep quiet on the sidelines. Kurohabaki campaign team announced that kill pups as more than 6 months of age, they were too old to be trained Kurohabaki. Puppies forcibly dragged out and their throats torn open when Sayoko watching helplessly beside.
Izo, his brothers, Orion, Heizō and Tyson found and buried puppies, Sayoko and a number of other bodies.

- Yoshihiro Takahashi has apparently made an error, because there are four puppies shown to be alive, but suddenly five puppies appear in the sky along with Izo's other deceased family members. Either Masaru or Masami is supernumerary.
- The puppy pictured here could be either Masaru or Masami.
- Masami's gender is unknown, as there are no official sources stating their gender.
