Mole is the son of Oliver. He appears in Ginga Densetsu Weed and Ginga: The Last Wars.
Ginga Densetsu Weed
Mole is the son of Oliver, an old Ōu soldier. He hears that Gin has been captured by Hōgen and digs his way into the prison. Here he tries to get the Leader to follow him, but Gin refuses. Mole then gets attacked by Hōgen’s soldiers and with his last strength, he drags himself out to a highway where some humans take him in. They heal his wounds.
Afterwards, Mole runs to Ōu to find Gin's son, Weed, whom Gin has told him about. Instead, Mole meets Tesshin, who takes him in for care. Tesshin then takes Mole to Weed so the little dog can tell Weed about his father. They now plan how to save Gin. When Mole again digs into Gin’s prison to tell him the news about their plan, he finds out that Gin is gone.
He now returns to Weed and joins the group in hope of saving the Great Leader of Ōu. Throughout the manga, he is usually seen riding on Hiro's back as he is too small and slow to keep up with the others. After the Hōgen arc, he was not seen or mentioned again.
Ginga: The Last Wars
Mole is seen with his owner who puts him on his leash and takes him for a walk when a white dog leaps from a nearby truck. Mole recognizes him as Akame and calls out to him. Akame recognizes him and informs him of the dire situation at Ou, before he carries on his journey. Mole cannot escape his leash but thinks about Ou from when he was there.
A short time later, Mole escapes his owner and goes to Ou, where he runs into Orion and Bon. The two dogs notice six pups behind him; his children.
Mole finds the prison where the Ou dogs are being kept, and digs his way in while his children wait outside the walls. With the help of all the Dachshunds, the Ou dogs are freed from the prison where they are escorted to safer areas. Due to their time in the prison and their injuries, they can barely walk and so are helped by Mole and his family.
