Oou Berge2

The Ōu Mountains (奥羽山脈, Ōu Sanmyaku), also known as just Ōu, is a real life place which is the main place in the whole Ginga series.

In Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, the Ōu region used to be a part of Akakabuto's territory, but is now under the reign of the Ōu Army. Since Akakabuto was defeated Ōu is known as the dog paradise.

This region is quite peaceful but has a famous landmark called Gajō. It has been the stronghold of the antagonists Akakabuto, Kaibutsu, Hōgen and now Monsoon.
